My research focused on cleaner fish used as a biological control on salmon farms in Norway. I’m trying to understand and improve cleaner fish welfare in sea cages, as well as their parasite removal efficiency. More broadly, I’m fascinated by the pull between ecology and economy that both drive decision-making in aquaculture, and how we can make aquaculture a more sustainable and ethical industry.
