I'm a PhD student interested in the study of parasites in marine aquaculture. My research focuses on the adaptation mechanisms of sea lice in response to control and preventive measures designed to manage infestations in aquaculture systems. Given the rapid evolutionary potential of sea lice, my work aims to identify early signs of adaptation to novel treatment strategies. By understanding these adaptive responses, I seek to enhance the effectiveness and longevity of innovative solutions for sea lice management, ultimately contributing to the sustainability of aquaculture practices.
